Van Cortland House Museum

Colonial Plantation House of the Van Cortlandt family built in 1748-49 by Frederick Van Cortland.

General George Washington used Van Cortland House twice as a headquarters in his struggle with the British.

17th and 18th century decorative arts. Colonial revival herb garden.
