The
Australian Sailing Museum is a world class attraction
in Mandurah, Western Australian. It was conceived and
founded by international sailing icon Rolly Tasker and
his wife Kerry. In realizing Rolly's dream to share
his passion and knowledge of all is sailing, the first
sod for the foundations was turned by him in March 2006.
The building construction is a stunning example of marine
architecture and has been dubbed Mandurah's “Little
Opera House.”
The Museum offers a comprehensive display
of models, history of Australian sailing from the 1800's,
America's Cup history, marine art, fiberglass figures
of sailing icons and pennants.
The Australian Sailing Museum offers a great day out
for the sailing enthusiast and those who wish to experience
an Australian first.
