This
National Historic Landmark is an outstanding examples
of domestic Gothic Revival architecture. The historic
house incorporates a stone house that was a Revolutionary
War headquaters of General George Washington and the
site of Aaron Burrs marriage to Theodosia Prevost.
The
Hermitage Museum consists of five acres of shaded grounds
containing the historic Hermitage house museum and the
Hermitage Education & Conference Center (HECC.)
