This
Federal mansion with Greek revival interiors was built
by Robert Bartow, a descendant of the Pell family between
1836 and 1842. The formal gardens were designed by Delano
& Aldrich (1915-1918.)
A
New York City landmark,
and a museum since 1947. The property was designated
a National Historic Landmark in 1978.

Mansion: Wednesday,
Saturday and Sunday 12 noon – 4 p.m.
Carriage House: April through October
Gardens/Grounds: open daily from 8:30 a.m. to dusk,
free
Mansion is closed on National Holidays including: Christmas,
New Year's Day, Easter, July 4th and Thanksgiving.
