The
Bronx Museum of the Arts is a 20th-century and contemporary
art museum founded in 1971 to serve the culturally diverse
population of the Bronx and the greater New York metropolitan
area. The museum maintains a permanent collections of
20th and 21st-century of artists of African, Asian and
Latin American & American origin.
Exhibitions from the permanent collection and changing
exhibitions focus on a wide range of topics including
historical and contemporary issues of cultural relevance
to the Bronx.
